Handcrafted Mud Cloth from Mali also called Bogolan. This is an unusual fabric made by stitching together strips of handwoven cotton. The finished cloth is then adorned with patterns and symbols by painting with natural dyes found in Mali and river mud which is matured for up to one year.
Normally each cloth is a unique creation.
Because this fabric is handmade, sizes vary, approximately 100 x 170 cm
